Product: HP OFFICE JET 3830 PRINTER
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP OFFICEJET 3830 PRINTER - 1 YR. OLD - PAPER FEED WILL NOT ACCEPT PAPER FOR PRINTING.  THE PAPER ENTERS THE TWO

ROLLERS BUT DOES NOT GO BEYOND WHERE THERE IS A STEEL PLATE.  WILL IT NEED TO GO TO A SERVICE CENTER OR HOW CAN THIS BE REPAIRED?

@BORICUA5702, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Are you using regular paper?

 

Make sure the papers are loaded properly in the printer - Loading Paper and Envelopes

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue - An 'Out of Paper' error displays, printer does not pick paper
