HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 series printer
I loaded 2 mailing envelopes into the tray following directions. When I try to print the mailing address onto the envelopes I get the "printing" message and hear noise but no envelope is printed out
I'm not sure that I picked the correct envelope number from the confusing (at least to me) list of different type envelope. I am using standard business type envelopes.

Hi @Scintilla2
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
To assist better-
1) Are you able to make copies using the printer?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?
3)What is envelope size and type you are using?
To know the supported paper types and size you may refer to -https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06293638
Meanwhile, you may try the below steps -
Contacts comes pre-installed with Mac computers and includes settings to format and print envelopes.
Search the Mac for and open Contacts.
Click the name of the contact you want to print on the envelope, making sure the address fields are filled out.
Click File > Print, and then click Show Details at the bottom of the dialog if it displays.
Click the Style menu, and then select Envelopes.
Click Layout, and then select your envelope size from the Layout pop up menu.
To add, remove, or change the return address field, click Label, and then select or deselect the check box next to Print my address.
Click Orientation, and then select the landscape option.
Click Print.
Go to Contacts User Guide - Print mailing labels, envelopes, and contact lists in Contacts on Mac (in English) for more information.
Refer to- Print the envelopes
