HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had exactly the same problem that this user reported in this post, and since I knew how to solve it, and considering that that post was locked, I wanted to respond in a new post.

My brand new out of the box LaserJet pro MFP M428fdw printer jams every page in the back panel.

So far I have tried,

*changing the toner cartridge,

*cleaning all the rollers around the toner cartridge area with a damp cloth to get rid of dust,

*Visually examining all exposed rollers and moving parts for damage and cleaning dust.

None of which have improved the jamming in the rear panel.

Next I will try a 200g. Paper instead of the 75g I'm currently using, however, if I can't use regular paper in the printer I don't imagine I will want it anyways.

If anyone else has ran into this issue before any insight would help.

Yes, it's always in the same location in the back of the printer. It doesn't make it through the last set of rollers going into the area where the paper rests once finished. The bottom half of the paper is wrinkled and I have to pull it from the rollers below the back panel."

This problem occurs due to poor HP design because when paper gets jammed at the back of the printer and you open the back door and clear the jam, the paper exit door sticks together and does not allow the paper to exit.

To fix this problem, you need to gently push the paper exit door up until it clicks into place and the paper exits.
