Hi @Khaide,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Smart Tank 519 printer isn't printing, there could be several reasons causing the issue. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To Assist you better
May I know the Operating system Windows or Mac?

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink tanks have sufficient ink levels. If any of the tanks are low or empty, Change them if they are empty follow the HP instructions.
  • Check Paper: Verify that there is paper in the paper tray and that it's loaded correctly. Sometimes, paper jams or misfeeds can prevent printing.
  • Printer Status Lights: Check the printer's status lights. If there are any error lights or messages displayed on the printer's control panel, refer to the printer's manual to interpret the error and take appropriate action.
  • Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve printing issues.
  • Check Connections: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the power source and that all cables are securely connected to the printer and the computer.
  • Check Printer Queue: If the printer appears to be connected and powered on but isn't printing, there might be print jobs stuck in the print queue. Open the print queue on your computer and cancel any pending print jobs.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Make sure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the HP website, locate your printer model, and download the latest drivers for your operating system. Software and Drivers for HP Smart Tank 519 Wireless All-in-One
  • Run Printer Troubleshooter: Most operating systems have built-in printer troubleshooters that can help identify and fix common printing problems. Run the printer troubleshooter on your computer to diagnose any issues.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model.
  • Clean Print Heads: If the print quality is poor or if the printer is not printing certain colors, clean the print head using the printer's utility software or the control panel.
  • Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer. Clear any paper jams carefully, following the printer's manual instructions.
