HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Had this 7740 since 2020 and since Jan 2021 my printer display FALSELY tells me that Tray 2 is open or empty. I’ve tried all the HP troubleshooting tips I can find but nothing has changed it one bit. I’ve opened it all up and cleaned exactly as per discriptions, restored to factory settings, deleted then reinstalled on PC but simply nothing works I’m losing my mind Esp as I’m highest risk lister for COVID sand have spent most of the past 2 years on lockdown. Crafting is the only thing that keeps me sane but I cannot afford to replace. Can anyone please help me to fix it

TIA

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
