Morning! Paper jammed (6 sheets, no tears), and I removed them. Then, I got the “print cartridge cannot move” message. I did everything I could think of (see if the machine system needed updating (no), overnight power off cords removed both ends, machine plugged into the wall, not power bar, popped the printer carts out and returned them, opened every orifice I could find to look for shreds of paper). Then, for some reason, the cartridge mechanism started to move yet the “cannot move” message still shows up, and I’m not able to print. 2016 purchase date - she’s been a steady no-problem machine.
Help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,

Hi @KK8152,
If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Hope this helps!
