My print which is a hp officejet pro 6978 is also showing this error code. I have done all the trouble shooting steps however the carriage for the ink cartridge will not move. It sounds like it moves when the printer is on but when the printer is off it will not move manually. What can be done?

I understand that you are getting an 0x6100004a error, I am glad to assist you.
You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
