Hello all, I have an HP Envy 4520 all in one printer that constantly has technical problems, and I need some advice....
Since there is no possible way, during the pandemic to reach an actual human being at HP, I am here to ask why the printer keeps jamming up with paper.
It starts by saying I am 'out of paper', then I put a new stack of paper in there, and try again, and it immediately grabs the whole stack and sucks it into the printer, and says 'Paper Jam'.
Is this a worthless printer, and I need to go and buy a new printer, or will there ever be a way to get actual technical support form HP, and not a robot automated system?? I absolutely HATE having to deal with robots for tech support, because they have no clue what to do, and cannot connect you to a live agent because the pandemic allows these companies to have no live support available.
Since there is no live support at HP, I guess I just cannot print these documents today, and will have to wait for a response here. Until then, I think I am going to go out and buy a new printer, because HP products are trash!!

@zlloyd1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand the printer jams the paper. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. It could be an issue with the rollers. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
What type and size of paper are you using?
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Update the printer firmware
