In my opinion, one of the least user friendly designs when it comes to paper jams. Often the jam occurs in the fuser area which is 98% inaccessible without disassembling the printer and removing the fuser unit. If you check you tube there are videos that show how to remove the fuser, if you do not find your exact model, the M477/479 are nearly identical and will serve as a guide.
