Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

I have this model -- really nice printer -- it does like (very much) to be clean and tidy.

Start

If the dirt is on the outside..

Use a flashlight (torch in the UK); shine the light at an angle along the glass.

Clean, clean, clean the glass panel(s)

AND

Use a tiny brush to sweep all along the edges of the glass.

Clean the white cover sections above ADF and Glass (flatbed).

Automatic document feeder does not pick paper or feeds too many sheets

Steps 1 - 2

Clean the printer ADF and the flatbed (glass) -- and the printer rollers inside of the printer, too.

Paper Jam Error

Next,

Make sure the printer is ready to print properly - clean and aligned, good cartridges, and the like.

You might have to clean the print head more than once...

Black Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
