HP officejet pro 8710
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The rollers in the printer keep slipping and will not feed card stock or photo paper.  It does feed from the paper tray but the rubber ? rollers will not continue to feed it.  I set the paper type to photo or plain paper thick.  Regular paper feeds fine.

The "usual suspects" that cause this kind of issue include:

  • The printer is worn out from years of use
  • The printer and printer rollers need to be cleaned
  • The printer software is in need of being reinstalled
  • The settings are not correct for the paper type / size
