I need to replace the right lever lock slide arm on an old hp 3600n.
(See this old post: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/laser-jet-3600n/td-p/5044386)
Opening the printer and removing covers is easy, but it is not obvious how to get at this part safely - clearly, remove the wrong screws on the right side could result in a large number of gears falling out of place.
There is one image in the above link of the part exposed ("This end missing...this part broken at black line" - exactly my situation) - anyone have instructions on how to get to that state safely?
Does anyone have instructions on this? Some of the posters on that old thread said they had instructions - maybe they still do? (@davidzuts)
Thanks for any help.
(This should be in the "~/Printers/Laserjet Printing" but that does not seem to be available for posting???)

OK, for anyone with the same issue, when dismantling the right side to replace slide bar, it is vary important that the large box of gears on the right side be removed by removing ONLY two screws at top and bottom, so as not open the gear box and have gears fall everywhere. I will post photos later.
