Deskjet 3630
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have spent days trying to reconnect my Deskjet 3630 printer after numerous "offline" errors.
I have removed, reinstalled, deleted the software, reinstalled both online and download and still get errors.

The error I am getting now says "No driver available".  I have used HP Smart and it says the printer is ready but although it is listed under devices and printers, it does not show in  the list of available printers when I want to print something.
One trouble shooting system (I've tried it from different starting points) simply says Driver check not fixed.
Why is it so difficult to connect a simple home wireless printer?
How can I get the driver since HP Smart doesn't install it?

You can download a basic manual install driver from support.hp.com

Sorry Repairatrooper but this didn't help. I did as you suggested, downloaded the driver, followed all the prompts and the end result was that my printer disappeared completely from Devices and Printers in Control Panel.
I reinstalled it and I'm back to No Driver is available.
What is wrong with HP??

Kg46,

I've experienced similar issues, and I wanted to clarify if you have rebooted your computer after doing the steps mentioned by Repairatrooper?

When I had this issue previously the printer kept disappearing like you said above, but I was instructed to follow those steps and then do a system reboot. Fixed it for me, maybe it'll fix your issue, too?

Thanks Zerek but still no joy.
I did it all again and rebooted the computer but  again the printer had vanished.
It will work with a USB cable connection but when I try to convert it to wireless, the previous connection goes "Offline" and the wireless connection says "No driver is available".
I've spent hours trying to overcome this and I'm ready to quit. Looks like my wireless printer can only be used with a USB cable.
Thanks HP.
