Hi @D56jenn,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with you're encountering a connectivity or configuration issue with your HP OfficeJet 4652. Here are a few steps to help resolve the issue:
Check Printer Connection:
- Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
- Try rebooting both the printer and your router to ensure a stable connection.
Update Printer Software:
- Open the HP Smart app and check for any software updates. Sometimes, outdated software can cause issues.
- You can also download the latest printer drivers and software from the HP website.
Check Printer Status:
- Ensure the printer is not showing any error messages on its display (e.g., low ink, paper jams).
- You may want to print a test page directly from the printer to ensure it's working properly.
Re-add Printer in HP Smart App:
- Try removing the printer from the HP Smart app and adding it back. This can often resolve connection issues.
- Go to the app, tap the three dots on the top-right corner, select “Add Printer,” and follow the prompts to re-add it.
Reset Printer Network Settings:
- You can reset the printer's network settings by going to the printer's control panel, selecting Setup > Network > Restore Network Settings.
- After this, reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network and see if the issue persists.
