Hi @D56jenn,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with you're encountering a connectivity or configuration issue with your HP OfficeJet 4652. Here are a few steps to help resolve the issue:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
  • Try rebooting both the printer and your router to ensure a stable connection.

Update Printer Software:

  • Open the HP Smart app and check for any software updates. Sometimes, outdated software can cause issues.
  • You can also download the latest printer drivers and software from the HP website.

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is not showing any error messages on its display (e.g., low ink, paper jams).
  • You may want to print a test page directly from the printer to ensure it's working properly.

Re-add Printer in HP Smart App:

  • Try removing the printer from the HP Smart app and adding it back. This can often resolve connection issues.
  • Go to the app, tap the three dots on the top-right corner, select “Add Printer,” and follow the prompts to re-add it.

Reset Printer Network Settings:

  • You can reset the printer's network settings by going to the printer's control panel, selecting Setup > Network > Restore Network Settings.
  • After this, reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network and see if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
