Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

i was given an hp 5940 deskjet printer my laptop is win 11 I neec the drivers that will work on win 11 hp won't give them to me. says it is retired  and no support to be given. no install

(1) Connect a USB cable between Deskjet printer and computer:

(2) Then try to install with HP Print Doctor:

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.
