Hello and thanks for your return,

The password for the Wi-Fi Direct is 12345678 by default. To learn more, go to Print with Wi-Fi Direct.

Try the following solution:

  1. Connect your computer or mobile device to the printer via Wi-Fi Direct. In the address bar of an Internet browser, type 192.168.223.1 , then press Enter key. The Embedded Web Server page opens.
  2. Click on the Network tab, and then click on Wireless (802.11) and then on Wireless Setup Wizard.
  3. Click on Next, then select your wireless network and click on Next.
  4. Type the wireless password for your new router, then click on Next.
  5. Wait until the printer is connected to the network. Click on Finish.
    • If the printer is successfully connected you will have this message displayed.
      Successfully connected
  6. Normally, your printer is now connected to your new router.
  7. Close the page of your printer and follow the next steps:
    1. Use the HP Easy Start to install your printer under MacOS.
    2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer software.

Don't hesitate to contact us in case of need.
