Hello,
Please follow these instructions to configure your printer on your new wireless network (router).
Restore network settings to default settings.
- Press the Wireless button to access the Wireless Status menu.
- Press the button next to Settings to access the Wireless Settings menu.
- Select Restore Defaults.
- Confirm selection to restore defaults.
To connect the printer
- Press the Wireless button from the printer control panel, and then select Settings.
- Scroll to select Wireless Setup Wizard, and then press OK.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the wireless connection.
- Use the HP Easy Start to install your printer under MacOS.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer software.

Hello and thanks for your return,
The password for the Wi-Fi Direct is 12345678 by default. To learn more, go to Print with Wi-Fi Direct.
Try the following solution:
- Connect your computer or mobile device to the printer via Wi-Fi Direct. In the address bar of an Internet browser, type 192.168.223.1 , then press Enter key. The Embedded Web Server page opens.
- Click on the Network tab, and then click on Wireless (802.11) and then on Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Click on Next, then select your wireless network and click on Next.
- Type the wireless password for your new router, then click on Next.
- Wait until the printer is connected to the network. Click on Finish.
- If the printer is successfully connected you will have this message displayed.
- If the printer is successfully connected you will have this message displayed.
- Normally, your printer is now connected to your new router.
- Close the page of your printer and follow the next steps:
- Use the HP Easy Start to install your printer under MacOS.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer software.
- Use the HP Easy Start to install your printer under MacOS.
