HP Officejet 6500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - E709n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

6500 e709n - HP Smart does not recognize. No SW seems to work. What are my options?

The old Flash SW was working fine but i needed to do a Reset on my computer and reload OS.

Now it seems there is no Print/Scan SW that will work. The HP Website recommends HP Smart but HP Smart can not find my printer...

HELP!? Does anyone know where i can get a copy of the old HP SW?

Is there an alternative?

Hi @joeya671,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Officejet 6500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - E709n. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To assist better:

  • Is your PC up to date?
  • If not please go ahead and update your Windows: Select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security  > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If updates are available, install them.
  • How is the printer connected to your PC?

While you respond to that, lets try Installing Your Printer Driver Using the Windows Built-in Solution

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
