I can print #10 envelopes, the issue that I have is the text looks like it came from a dot matrix printer. The texts is dotty and stretched, giving it a look like a picture has been zoomed in and you see each pixel.

Hi,
From your description i would suspect the paper settings.
Please remove and reload the envelope into tray1 as shown below:

When you close the paper tray be sure to evaluate the shown prompt and click No or Edit to change the paper size to Envelope #10, set the Paper Type as envelope if shown as an option, else as other special media.

Hi,
Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe
Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.
Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.
