7760 software

I have a 7760 printer that works fine. My computer crashed and I had to purchase a new computer.  I'm the only owner of this printer since new. 

When I try and load software this is the error I receive;

The Operating System on this computer does not match the supported operating systems. This is only a warning message. The installation can continue*.

Current OS: 602

Supported: Windows98, WindowsME, Windows2000, WindowsXP

Recommendation: Install this product on a computer that has one of the supported Microsoft operating systems or refer to your computer's documentation for information on upgrading your computer's operating system.

*Please Note: If the current operating system is reported as a number, this is because the operating system was released after your Hewlett-Packard software.

Would love any suggestions.

You have new windows OS Windows 10, and your installation cd is for old: Windows98, WindowsME, Windows2000, WindowsXP

You will hardy be able to install in full working order very old printer and new operating system on a new computer.

Hi,

The original CD was made many years prior of your current operating system and is not intended for such a later OS.
