A fix for Laserjet P1006 and Mac Monterey 12.1

This is an addendum to my prior post complaining about incompatibility between Mac Monterey 12.1 and HP Laserjet P1006. Here's what works: In System Preferences/Printers and Scanners right-click on the Laserjet, then Reset Printing System. Download the following software:

My Mac now works perfectly with my old LaserJet P1006.

Hello @dnb1 .
You can use Hp Smart, if you previously had it uninstall it and download it from the following link:
https://apps.apple.com/es/app/hp-smart/id469284907

Another option:
1.-Download the v5.1 package:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=es_LAMR
2.- In Apple Store search and download Pacifist. Open version 5.1 with the Pacifist program and install it.

3.- Computer - System Preferences - Printers and Scanners - click on the + sign . Click on the printer under the name. Select Other software in use. Find the hp laserjet 108. Add it. Print the proof.
