My printer was not detected on any device, only an error was detected "A request for the USB device descriptor failed."
I have updated all the drivers but still have no results, how to solve the problem?
Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Have you tried using a different USB cable?
- Make sure the USB cable is not longer than 3 Metre.
- Try connecting it to a different USB port on your computer as the printer supports only a USB 2.0 port.
- New computers come with a combination of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.
Disconnect the USB cable.
Step 1: Update Windows
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.
Step 2: Go to Device manager and uninstall any USB root hubs by right-clicking on it > uninstall device
Reboot the computer.
Step 3: Click here to download the HP drivers.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Let me know how this goes.
