A7 envelope print option

I need to print my Christmas cards, but there is not A7 envelope paper size print option.  I have a HP Photosmart 7510.  What do I need to do to get the A7 envelope print option?

Presumably, the printer supports the A7 paper size as a Custom Media Size.

Found in the Specifications

Media sizes, custom

3 x 5 to 8.5 x 30 in

I don't believe the "30 in" number --

I do believe the correct length number would include the length of an A7 envelope.

There is a possible "show stopper" limitation to creating a custom sized envelope --

The printer software is years old -- printer software of this vintage might not support Custom Paper Sizes in Windows.

What?!

If true, there is no workaround -- get some labels and print those - stick the printed labels on the envelopes and mail the cards on time...

Printer - Software

Assuming you have been using the printer and it is functional,

Check that the Full Feature Software is installed and working.

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and sign in

The installation of the full driver adds at least two shortcuts to the Desktop:  

Printer Assistant 

HP Scan

>>> Open the Printer Assistant > tab Scan > Manage Scan to Computer > Enable

Printer - Custom Paper Size Form

The next limitation --

Does Windows support creating Custom Paper sizes?

Maybe -- the printer is old -- I have not run across the information that tells us one way or the other.

If your older Printer AND Windows (together)  support Custom Paper Sizes,

then 

Create the Custom Paper Size form.

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers

Top Ribbon > Print Server Properties > Tab Forms

Windows 11

Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

Under Related Settings > Print server Properties > Tab Forms

Control Panel > icon view > Right-Click on Printer > Printing Preferences

Tab Paper / Quality > Custom setting box

Windows 11

Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

Select Printer > Printing Preferences

Tab Paper / Quality > Custom setting box

Note

After setting / creating your Custom Form in Printing Preferences,

Save the setup and Exit Printing Preferences.

(Re)Open Printing Preferences and check the paper list for your new custom paper size form.

You may do so using the tools (software / application) you have.

Change the dimensions to your A7 envelope size...
