I'd like to edit the scan resolution of my shortcuts permanently .

As far as I understood, I have to change these settings in my Shortcuts Account (see picture). Editing whithin my printer is not possible, so the helptext says I should change it within my hp smart app with the sync option. But ther is no sync neither in Windows nor in Android. I've read that I should do an reset and upgrade to a new firmware version. My actual version is MANHTNPP1N002.2329B.00. So I tried to save my printer settings in a file, which causes an error. I also tried to upgrade the firmware with the buildin function which causes also an network error.

Any ideas ?

(I have a german firmware version)

Hello Irwin,

sorry for the late reply. I thoght I'd already sent you a reply, but it seems that something went wrong.

However, I've tried both soltutions. None of them worked.

in the first case, the solution is for a shortcut, but my shortcuts working poperly

in the second case, you refer to a site for the firmware, but I can't find a possibility to download the Firmware under Windows. There are a few options eg. Drivers, easy start etc. but no firmware.

As everything is working fine with the shortcuts and the firmware is up to date.

Hi Irvin,

The Problem is not solved. As described I want to change my scan resolution permanently. Therefore I have to change my Shortcuts Account. Regarding to my printer I have to "sync" my Shortcuts Account with HP Smart (see screenshots). This ist not possible because the function is not embedded in the HP Smart Software.

So the question is: How can I edit, sync or whatever my Shortcuts Account to change the scan resolution permanently ???

Best Tobias
