Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4302dw Printer

After my son had tried to install printer HP 4302dw is steadily reporting "Back lid is opened" meanwhile the lid is looks like closed securely. All jobs are delaying. Main menu is not accessible.  It's the first installation just from box.

Unfortunately I can't describe the procedure he implemented and now he also can't explain the goal and the exact sequence of his actions.

I tried to revitalize it but failed. For my opinion, it's the result of some driver installation was failed due the poor internet connection or else.

My question, is it possible to make factory reset on the stand along printer when the main menu is not accessible?

If not, hot to proceed via USB cable? Else?
