HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After upgrading network to fiber and trying to install printer to the new network,  I am getting asked for a password which I don't even remember ever setting up.  Cannot do a factory reset as it is asking for the password.  Trying to use 12345678 which is suppose to be the default will not work.   I have the M148FDW LaserJet printer. Can anyone help.  I understand that there is a solution but it is not published.

I was able to find the solution to reset the printer back to factory.

Power off Printer.  Press the left arrow key and the X cancel button at the same time while powering up.  This will initialize the

printer back to factory settings.
