When I select a document to print using the AiO Remote app's "Documents" button, it allows me to select only PDF files.  In the file-type selection field (to the right of File Name), the only two options are  *.pdf  and  All files(*.pdf). Does anybody have an idea how I might break out of this impasse?

Hi @jlouder

Thanks for the additional clarification.

We checked the AiO Remote, it has the photo printing capablilty.  It was able to detect JPG photos when we select the "Photo" option . Example as shown:

AiO Remote print Photos.jpg

Hope that helps!

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Instead of using the AIO Remote, we'd suggest that you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

The following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your quick reply. I think you may have missed the point of my question. I already have the full software installed, the printer works and I can scan. I can print any file format if I open the file in its native application--e.g. Word, Excel, Photoshop, etc.--and print from there.

It's when I want to do a quick print with AiO Printer Remote that I run into difficulties, because it doesn't recognize any file format other than PDF--not even JPG. I'm looking for some way to expand its repertoire--but maybe that simply isn't possible right now. It surely would be a desirable improvement for a future version of the app.

So it does--thanks for that tip! I still wish the thing recognized more document formats, but there it is. Again, thanks for your help and consideration.
