My Ipad and Iphone do not auto connect via Air Print on wifi.
When printer is active I can print via wifi from Apple products, but once it goes into sleep mode, I no longer have a connection and activating wifi printing from Ipad or Iphone does not wake up the printer.
I live in a 3 story house, not the best setup when the printer doesn't cooperate. Any suggestions on how to connect via Air Print or wake up the printer remotely?

Hi @MorMor1,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you are facing issues with your HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer wherein the printer does not wake up from sleep mode when you try to print from Ipad or Iphone.
Please note that the printer will not wake up from sleep mode while printing via Air Print. You need to manually turn the printer on or press the power button to wake it.

Hi @MorMor1,
You are welcome.
I understand that you were hoping if there was a way to wake up the printer from sleep mode without going to the unit but unfortunately there is no option.
Maybe in future with the advancement in the mobile printing technology, they may be one.
I also appreciate your time and patience.

I should tell you that this absolutely defeats the whole reason to network print if we constantly have to wake the printer before we print from iOS devices. This should be regarded as a priority for the product manager. At least let us disable sleep mode.
