Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2007. Documents generated and have pictures inserted from my camera print fine, prints what is shown in print preview. However for 2 years, checking every option, updated driver actually still the one from 2015, HP message says driver is up to date. Any image, chart or table copied from the Web that i resize and crop to easily fit on a letter gets 1/3rd of the right side chopped off.
This happens even if you make it half the page width, 1/2" margines, scaling or no scaling, letter, DPI = draft or normal, HP technology On or OFF. Print preview always looks perfect but the printer is doing something else, sometimes even a picture that is not even on my file! Checked every option in Advanced settings. None of the windows 10 instructions to view what driver version is on my computer shows nothing. Tried Windows key +R to control panel, widows Start/control panel/printers and drivers always point back to device manager/Hp Envy 5540 series with 2015 version driver. Otherwise printer works so hate to throw out but it is costing me lots of paper and ink. HP is not responding in years!! Any ideas would be appreciated.

I finally solved my reported issue myself after years of frustration, like many others with the same reported issue.
Issue where images: like charts, software Web tables, product comparisons that were copied from the Web and pasted to Microsoft Word look great after cropping and look great on print preview but get chopped when printed.
Having checking every possible setting for the printer, drivers etc. I changed my focus to Aspect ratio of the image or actually the Microsoft Picture Manager software. My tests show that the picture gets cropped and looks good but apparenty the data in the perimeter is erased from the view but that empty frame is hidden but still there.
1. Select the image, Picture tool appears, 2. Right mouse click and SELECT SIZE. 3. Go down to Apsect Ratio
uncheck [ ] Relative to original picture size. Now the height and width boxes change to 100%.
I believe that means you now print 100% of what is in print preview, the other junk you cropped out is finally gone!😊

All wrong, none of that works. The real problem I discovered is when you do a screen capture from the Webb to get a chart, stock chart, prioduct comparison or picture you have to crop out the ads or other stuff you don't need.
Everybody checks the paper size, orientation, margines and the other basics to where the print preview image looks great but then you print it and waste ink and paper because 1/3rd of the image gets cut off. Answer is to change the default in the Size/scale section by unchecking the box { ] Keep aspect ratio of the picture. Now the junk that was cropped out actually gets removed, the hidden larger original frame is gone. Now it prints what you see.
