HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am simply appalled that after several hours of reading instructions and doing exactly what I am told, literally about 7 hours now, that I can not connect properly.  My Printer keeps cutting out and going to Sleep and won't Print.

It is not even 2 years old.  Back in the day I had a Printer with a Cable, not a SMART Internet Connected Device and in over a decade, in something like 12 years, nothing went wrong.  It was simple.  You have a document on your computer and when you wanted to print the information went through your cable, to the printer and 'voila', you  had a printed document.  Never anything to worry about.

Now, this is about the 4th time I've had a random disconnection with this SMART Technology Printer and it is frankly a Nightmare to reconnect and go back to normal.

Basically, going through the searches and investigations, it related to Drivers.  "Easy Start" had just been modified and may be the problem, from 23/10/23, but it is not Easy and it is damned near impossible to get Started.  I've been through this overblown complex scenario now three times, have completed it and end up with 'Something Went Wrong'.

Following every procedure to the tee and still 'Something Went Wrong'?

Last week my Computer and Printer randomly disconect.

Then I manage to reconnect, but it is not solid and safe, as my Printer is usually Asleep.

I'm told it is not a problem and it will Print anyway, when it gets the signal, but it doesn't.

I then painstakingly go through all the information, to discover that the issue is probably Drivers, which keep getting updated, but of course who realises this as 99.9999"% of the World are not Herwlett Packard Teccies!

I then go through the Driver processes, which are really long, laborious, involve me logging into my Account and then followin yet more steps; to find the Message 'Something Went Wrong'!

Look Helwett Packard , this is not SMART, not EASY (as you describe the Printer Category), massively overcomplicated (which is frankly suspicious), duplicitous with information 'like pulling teeth' to find and actually unprofessional.

Nobody should end up spending hours on end to simply connect a printer to a computer!  It is ridiculous.  Beyond ridiculous.

Bring back a simple cable, between PC and Printer.  Enough of this SMART failure.  This is a commercial Travesty, which the Public will try to escape from.
