I hope this message finds you well.

We are reaching out regarding an issue with our office printer. When we initially set up the printer, it worked perfectly without any subscription, allowing us to print as needed. After some time, we opted for a subscription plan, but we would now like to cancel this subscription.

The problem is that the printer no longer functions without the subscription, and we would prefer to continue using the current printer rather than purchasing a new one. It has been over 1.5 years since we started using the subscription, and we would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Could you please assist us in reactivating the printer for use without a subscription?

I do not have an instant ink printer. My understanding is that if you run out of ink or cancel your subscription, you can use genuine Hewlett Packard cartridges either original or refilled. They must have an HP chip in the cartridge.

Hi,

Please clarify the exact printer model.

While HP Instant Ink printers can be used with no subscription, select HP Plus printers may require a subscription to operate.
