My previous Samsung will auto rotate the orientation of the scanned document, the right side up.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

The HP Scan software allows the image to be rotated after scanning.

If needed, this resource will help to download the HP FULL feature software:

The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Alternatively, this link will also help to download and install the FULL feature software.

For tutorial on how and where to select the "rotate feature" during scanning, please refer to these resources:

Scanning multiple pages using the ADF and Scan Glass

(the Rotate feature can be seen at time 2:00 - on the right of the software)

For more scanning tips, click here.

Hope that helps!

Hi,

Glad to hear that your issue is resolved and all is working well now.

Currently, most software allows manual rotate after scanning - no auto detect and rotate.

Have a nice day!
