Want to disable Auto Off feature after 8 hours. I already have it scheduled off for certain times, I don't want it powering off in the middle of the day after 8 hours.

After hour long call with support was able to bypass auto-off. There is no option for never, so checked 8 hours, but it wasn’t showing network activity so it shut off after 8 hours. The support tech downloaded drivers again and put the network from auto to manual. Not sure if only one or both of these fixed the issue, but now it only shuts off when I have it scheduled to.

I have just purchased and installed a new printer ENVY 6020. I love it BUT it has an Auto-Off instruction on it which comes into force after 2 hours of not being used. This means I have to physically go to turn on the printer before I can print anything remotely? Am I right that that is what I have to do? If I am what is the point of my learning how to print from elsewhere?

I have similar issue. Just bought Envy 6032 and cant stop it from disconnecting from wifi when it is idle.
I want this printer to respond to any print command from mobile phones or PC on my network, bit it seems like i will have to power it up every time i want to print. Surely it can be configured into a "snooze" mode where it is woken up by a print request?

Update.
I contacted HP support and they helped sort it out.
Basically they check it was updated to latest firmware, (it was) they reset to factory defaults and reinstalled it.
It then worked perfectly and has done since.
Somehow I had set some setting incorrectly...
Thanks for HP support!
