About once a week our HP Deskjet Pro 9025e wakes us up at night or early in the morning doing what sounds like a reset. The message says something like “printer maintenance, do not turn printer off.”  How can we stop this from happening?  There is nowhere else to keep the printer and we do not want to turn it off every night.

Hi @Cherib7,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your printer.

To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:

- Exact model number/product number(SKU number) of your HP Product (Click here for information on how to find the model number/product number).

- How often does the printer go through the maintenance?

- May I know to which device are you trying to connect your printer to eg: Windows PC, Mac, or Smartphone (Android or iPhone)?

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Take care and have a great day ahead!

Sorry I missed your response.  This is on a label on the back of the printer:  S/N [personal info removed] FPU: 1G5L3-64001 HP Inc.

It happens about once a week.  I wouldn't mind it if it happened during the day but it's always while we're sleeping!  (happened again last night around midnight).  We use the printer wirelessly with MACs and iPhones and a Windows PC.
