With the latest ios update(Big Sur 11.0.1), Apple is saying the current drivers will damage the computer if used. And, docs no longer print from the computer. I've uninstalled the drivers, but I'm not seeing replacement drivers on the HP site for the ENVY 7800 model. Are those available?  Thank you.

I experience a similar issue - please provide an update on release date of the 6978/6970 driver.

Thanks

Ditto with HP 1020 (but the driver for 1022 works).

I have the same problem with my HP Deskjet 3054A!

I have a different printer model, but the same issue.  Just spent an hour with Apple going over this, after having spent 4-5 hours discovering for myself that HP does not have the driver/software upgrade for BigSur.  Don't know if and when they will.

I have the 8620 Pro and exactly the same problem.

I have the same issue on my OfficeJet 5500 Series.  Printer Drivers don't exist for IOS 11, and old drivers don't work / aren't compatible with the current OS.

When is HP going to update these drivers so they work with the current Apple IOS?

This is really annoying when everyone is trying to work from home and you suddenly lose printing/scanning capabilities due to an Apple system upgrade.
