Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a flashing orange light on my HP4150 All in One Inkjet printer.  It was working a few days ago, now I can't get it to print.  Ink cartridges are full.  I've tried holding the power button down and then the X button for 10 seconds, then releasing the X button first and then the power button.  Light is still flashing.  HP is doing maintenance on their system (for hours now) and I can't get customer support for this issue.  Any suggestions?

Hi @DeeLilah,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

A blinking orange light on an HP 4150 All-in-One printer could indicate a few different issues. Here are some possible causes and solutions.

  • Low Ink or Toner: The blinking orange light could indicate that the ink or toner level is low or empty. Check the ink or toner levels and replace the cartridges if necessary.
  • Paper Jam: A paper jam could also cause the blinking orange light. Check for any jammed paper in the printer and remove it carefully.
  • Printer Offline: If the printer is not connected to the network or if the connection is lost, the orange light could blink. Check the printer's network connection and make sure it's properly connected.
  • Hardware Problem: A hardware issue could also cause the blinking orange light.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
