HP OfficeJet Pro 9014 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using the software Affinity Publisher which has been set up as page size A5. It is set to print facing pages so I can print 2 A5 pages over an A4 page. Set page in portrait. I then save this as a .pdf. Printing the .pdf from the Xerox printer allows me to fold the A4 page and produce an A5 booklet. If I print using the HP it wants to always print in landscape. When I fold the A4 paper, page 1 shows the image at the top of the page but turned at right angles. Page 2, shows page 2 and page 3 combined but again turned at right angles. Therefore page 3 is blank.

I have tried many options on the HP printer to try and get the previewed booklet to print to the HP printer in the same format to produce my booklet. In desperation as I was wasting and adding pages to my monthly allowance on the HP printer, I printed to my Xerox, to see if this printer could print a booklet. It did  this the first time I tried to print to my Xerox laser monochrome printer, it printed in the correct booklet format. So I now think the problem is with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series.

Note: The print preview on my HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series is the same as I see on the Xerox printer so I am unsure why it does not print a booklet in the same format as the Xerox printer does.

I am hoping the HP Community includes the the HP software engineers who can fix this problem. I am hoping it's a bug and a fix going to be made available.

Note 2: Before I posted this message, I thought I would just choose the Xerox printer while I was in the Affinity Publisher program. Selecting the Xerox printer I could print a monochrome booklet.

So it does look like a HP printer driver problem/software problem.

Looking forward to receive a response and a fix from HP.
