Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I Created a 12 page booklet in InDesign, six spreads. When printed, the spreads print in reverse order, pgs 1 & 12 on the inside instead of the outside. Exported to Acrobat and also ran Quite Imposing Plus 5 plug in (booklet making plug in) none of which changed anything. Tried dozens of different settings in ID, Acrobat and the plug in to no avail. Everything prints correctly but the spreads are printed in reverse order. "Reverse order" command didn't help, reversed the pages on the spreads but did not reverse the order in which the spreads were printed. Since three apps got it wrong I'm thinking this is a printer error. How do I fix it? This printer has the booklet function, folds and staples.
