HP6001 Smart Tank

Can I print a borderless document using a custom paper size? I have created the same document in both Apple Pages and Adobe Illustrator, and have created them as borderless documents. I’ve sent the documents in native file format and as PDFs to the printer. I’ve created a custom paper size in HP Smart that matches the document size of my file, but I cannot find an option in the HP Smart software as installed on my MacBook Pro (OS Monterey 12) to print a borderless document.   The printer (HP Smart Tank 6001) does support borderless printing. When I print, the printer does not reduce the size of the image, but adds a 1/8 inch white border on all sides.

Sounds like it should as implied on its specs which says Borderless printing: Yes (up to 8.5 x 11 in, 210 x 297 mm)

But could be some restrictions for Custom size papers as mentioned on the following discussion
