HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3302fdwg
Microsoft Windows 11

The HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3302fdw offers a flexible powersave feature. The user may set the printer to turn itself off after a user-configurable amount of inactivity.

When I set this inactivity to 20 minutes then the feature is working as expected (printer shuts down 20 minutes after the last print job). As soon as I choose a higher interval (such as 1 hour or even longer) it's not working anymore and the printer does not shut itself down. Not even overnight or over the weekend.

I have disabled the "Prevent shutdown when the ports are active" option. I also already performed a full factory-reset.

Installed firmware: 6.17.3.269-202405221647

The printer is connected to WiFi in my case (5 GHz WiFi, very strong signal as the AP is in the same room).

This looks like a bug in the printer firmware to me. What's the appropriate way to report firmware bugs?
