Finally got around to setting up my new HP ENVY Photo 7164, which was buried amidst moving boxes a few years ago, so cannot return to retailer.  There are no SETUP cartridges.  I have new cartridges.

How do I bypass the SETUP cartridges and finish setting up my new printer?

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.

Request you to follow the below steps to setup your printer with regular ink cartridges.

 

  1. Touch the Home button once, then the Back button twice, then the Home button once.
  2. Open the ink cartridge access door, and then close it. A Load Paper message displays on the control panel display, and the printer begins initializing.
  3. If the initialization does not begin, repeat steps 1 and 2 until it does.

Follow the prompts on the control panel display to complete initialization.

The "thumbs up" button isn't showing for me though. Hoping the "Yes" button to the question "was this helpful" is the replacement button.
