i was recently gifted an HP Photosmart c4795 and i'm having some issues with it. i am able to print with it but it only prints in black and white. i tried changing settings on my computer but nothing is clicked to be printing in grey scale. i was able to align my ink and scan something in color but never print in color. when i try to get drivers online, it never quite works. Are there settings that i might not be seeing? Is there a specific driver i need to install? please help! i have a Macbook air with version 11.2.1 Big Sur.

I'd like to help!

 

HP Photosmart C4795 All-in-One Printer driver for macOS is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
