Since your HP OmniBook 5 is likely running Windows 11, it will need the latest driver and utility software from Epson.

1. Download the Setup File: Go to the official Epson support website (search for driver) and download the recommended Full Feature Software or Product Setup package for your Windows operating system. Do not use the disc if one came with the printer, as the drivers are likely outdated.

2. Run the Installer: Double-click the downloaded file on your HP laptop to start the installation.

3. Follow the On-Screen Instructions:

   • Accept the license agreement.

   • When prompted for a connection type, choose Wireless connection (or Wi-Fi).

   • The installer should automatically detect the printer on your Wi-Fi network.

   • Select your printer from the list and follow the prompts to complete the installation of the print and scan drivers.

Alternative: Use Windows Add a Printer

If the Epson software cannot find the printer, you can try adding it directly through Windows:

1. On your HP laptop, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.

2. Click Add device.

3. Windows will scan for the printer on your network. When the Epson WF-2930 appears, select it and click Add device. Windows should install the basic drivers automatically.
