I just purchased my Envy Photo 7855 and the setup is stuck on "calibrating the printer 0%" - How long should calibration take? It's been stuck on 0% for over 45mins. I cannot follow the wireless connection instructions until calibration is done. Is there a way to reboot the process or skip it? Thank you!!

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.
Congratulations on your purchase of a new HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer. I read that the printer is stuck on "calibrating the printer 0%" for a very long time. I'll be glad to assist you with this case.
I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
Please restart the printer. After restarting if the printer continues to be stuck on calibration then please continue with the following steps:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
- Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know. Good luck! 🙂

I am having problems printing a double sided 200+ Psf, it is actually the HP printer manual for my printer an Envy Photo 7855. I spent 2 hours on the phone with the HP guy, Jeff, who has 17 years ecperience helping me, he took control of my computer and all semed well, but I can't print the computer manual, it seems it may be a driver issue, Not sure. My weak point is networks, I have a 2 CPU 32 core server/workstation with 128 GB of registered ECC ram and 2 ssd's for the OS ( Windows 7 Ultimate) and 12 TB of spinning disk space in both seperate drives and one 4x2TB WD Black Enterprise 6GB/s drives. So it is a ver capeable computer. Not the fastest, it can get up just over 3GHz if operation 1/2 the core (16) and just under 3 GHz running 32 cores.
Jeff from HP is going to call me back Monday to see if i had any problems. He is amazing.
Tyhanks for your answer before, if anone has any ideas why it wont print a large PDF made by HP and Un protected let me know.
Sincerely,
Brian
