I wanted to be able to print directly to my printer with a cord and not have to use wireless.

Hi @Tadeo69,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Yes, you can print directly to your printer without using a wireless connection by using a USB connection. HP printers typically support multiple connection methods, including USB, wired Ethernet, and wireless connections. To print using a cord:

USB Connection:

  • Simply connect your printer to your computer using a USB cable.

  • Ensure that the printer driver is installed on your computer. Most modern operating systems will automatically detect the printer and install the necessary drivers.

Wired Ethernet Connection:

  • If your printer has an Ethernet port, connect it to your network using an Ethernet cable.

  • This allows you to print from any computer on the same network.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
