Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Can photosmart c4385 work with BIg Sur on Mac  I am having trouble downloading the drivers, even from a disk

@Elnora2, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

This printer is not AirPrint compatible and has no printer driver available on the HP Support site to work on macOS 11

This printer does not support the HP Smart app too.

 

For more info on this issue, refer to this document. 

 

However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
