Hi  @Kona2026,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand how it can feel when your printer suddenly stops printing, especially when it was working perfectly the previous day, don’t worry let me check and help you with this.

Could you kindly confirm the below details :

  • Are you receiving any error messages on the printer display or on your Mac besides the firmware update message?
  • Is the printer connected via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB?
  • Can you print a Printer Status Report or any document directly from the printer?

In the meantime, kindly try the below steps and confirm :

  1. Check Printer Connection
    • Ensure the printer and Mac are connected to the same network (if using Wi-Fi).
    • Print a Network Configuration Report from the printer and verify the connection status.
  2. Remove and Re-add the Printer
    • On your Mac, go to System Settings - Printers & Scanners.
    • Remove the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015.
    • Restart the Mac.
    • Add the printer again using AirPrint if available.
  3. Run HP Smart Diagnostics
    • Open the HP app and check if the printer is detected.
    • Run any available diagnostic or troubleshooting tools.

I hope this helps.
