Hi,

The driver setup stops in the middle of the progress.

I reinstalled the driver AFTER removing the printer from:

Device manager,

- Print Server Properties' driver section,

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-3

and restarted ten times, no success.

It's not an IP issue. Here is the IP address in Chrome:

The HP Print and Scan Doctor detects the printer over WiFi, though!!

Even HP Support Assistant detects the printer over Wifi:

I can install the driver using the printers section:

But the printer would be installed as a black and white only. No icons to choose COLOR Print.

I have no idea what else should I do.

Hope someone has a solution for this!

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

 

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.

I reinstalled all HP printers as I mentioned before, and tried your file.

No change, same error!

As you see in my pictures, I had the exact same version of the HP Print & Scan Doctor (i.e. 5.0.6). All steps were the same too.
