So, time to replace the first of four toner cartridges.

But I get a message that I should authenticate the new cartridge. But it fails, due to "no internet connection". This i strange, because I have a working internet connection on my Mac and the printer is connected to the same wifi as my Mac.
Any tips on how to either successfully authenticate or (as a last step) disable this message for ever (since I have three more colors to replace in the forthcoming future).

@NiWi, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

To check the authenticity of your cartridges, go to the HP anti-counterfeit webpage (in English).

Try a different web browser and check if that helps.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.
