HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

The social support team sent me instructions to CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK next to the ink levels to get the unique codes that allows support to generate a region change key.

Unfortunately when I put it the EU purchased cartridges (printer was bought in Europe), the Supply Levels page on HP Smart only shows publicity to the ink service. I tried to CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK everywhere to no success. Tried on Mac and Windows

I do see ink levels here if I load the US cartridges, which are currently out of ink. Still can’t CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK here either.

Also found another support thread from May 2021 where the user claims the same problem.

I’m assuming the app has changed and this functionality has moved somewhere else. Hoping someone here has been through it and can tell me where 🙂

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to do region rest on the printer, I am glad to assist you.

This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue, I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.
